Ever since I can remember, I’ve been the tallest among my peers… always relegated to the middle of the back row on picture day. What I didn’t know back then was how much of a gift my height truly was. Following in my sister’s footsteps, I landed on a basketball court. Somehow just being tall was something everyone around me celebrated. I forgot about the awkward lanky kid whose Bubblegum jeans were still baggy, and I grew to understand that being tall was a gift.
After basketball, I started modeling. It was here that I learned more about self-presentation than I probably wanted to but over the years, I developed a great appreciation of fashion and the ability to transform oneself with an outfit. Shopping for that outfit, was an entirely different story.
I refuse to live in a world where jeans never fit properly. I feel like I’ve spent a lifetime preparing for this brand. Becoming a mom accelerated my drive to be the change I want my kids to see, in life, and in the fashion industry. I want them to witness what being part of the solution looks like, and why that’s necessary for our Planet.
This is a brand that celebrates tall women. A brand that designs specifically for tall and doesn’t just add length. WHERE WE'RE HEADED...
While our first collection does run from size 4-18, we want to remind our tall community that our sizes 14-18 will fit some Plus-size customers, but not all. Typically size 14 and above is considered Plus-size but we all know that tall girls are anything but “typical”. Sometimes we just have broader shoulders, wider hips and longer bones. It is for this reason that we have extended our tall sizing (beyond a 12) and that we do NOT claim it is designed as Plus-size. We want you to know that we’re working toward greater inclusivity in both our size range and materials.
Please be patient with us. We are aware that our collection isn’t yet for “all” Tall, but with your help and feedback, we’ll get there.
